Load FlexPendant Application

Options
Dear All,

We developed one FlexPendant application using RAB and copy it to the HOME directory of our real ABB robot controller. But we cannot find the application entry in the main menu of FlexPendant while it is shown in the virtual FlexPendant. We checked the license key and found that there are not options such as "PC interface" and "FlexPendant interface". Will this the reason why real FlexPendant cannot load our application? Or we should need other options or settings?

Please help. Many thanks

Yes, you must have the option Flex Pendant Interface installed in the system.

Did you include both dll and gtpu.dll?

Did you restart the FlexPendant after the deployment?

To run a FlexPendant SDK application you need the [FlexPendant Interface] option on the controller.
To run a PC SDK application then the controller that you communicate need the [PC Interface] option.

    Dear RussD and John,

We developed a PC SDK application, through which we can scan the network and specify the real controller we need. Then we send both dll and gtpu.dll files via the PC SDK application  to the controllers using PC SDK API.

The RobotWare version of robot controller and FlexPendant SDK application is same (5.11).

Thank you very much for information provided. We have to buy a new license key then. :|
