Failed to create Direct3D vertex buffer

Options
Hi,

I've got a problem with Robot Studio 5.12.
While opening a station i recieve the message:
"Graphics: Failed to create Direct3D vertex buffer (Ran out of memory)[35]"

While moving the scene (rotating or moving the view) the counter of message appearence increases fastly.

The pc has a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX.

There is the newest driver installed.

If I change to OpenGL, it crashes sometimes and I also get the message:
"Graphics: Failed to create OpenGL vertex buffer (Ran out of memory)"

We use RS for some years and in older versions i saw this message sometimes while using Direct3D.
Now I got it also with OpenGL.

Where is the problem and what can I do?
All that changed is the Robot Studio.
The graphic card is the same since we set up this pc fpr simulation.
Also no other software were changed.

Thanks for help.

ok ... I reduced the details from fine to coarse (I hope thats the right name for the option in english, cause my RS is in german and there it's called "Fein" and "Grob")
now the message doesn't appeare while using Direct3D

    Hello Jabies.

I have ever gotten the same message as yours (Failed to create Direct 3D Vertex Buffer - out of video memory). Then It gives the Unknown Error RobotStudio.NET exception, the effect is I can open my Event Manager. When I open my station (same station) at other computer with bigger memory, the error is gone.

My conclution : I have not enough VGA memory to run my station.

I am not sure that my case is same as yours.

     Best Regard
