I am wondering how I can add and remove background tasks. Is there any related reference?

Yes. Open your robot studio, then click on the ?(Help Menu) in the upper right corner. Then click on FlexPendant Help. Once that help window opens, click on the Index tab. Start typing Multi........, you will see all the help topics there. The help menu is also a great help for Rapid and System Parameters.
