revolution counter not updated

Options

Dear All,

We just downloaded a robotic system to a controller. When we restart the controller, we got the following err message

"Event Message 20032

Rev.Counter not updated

Description

Revoluation coutner is not updated

One or several absolute measurement axes are not synchronized.

Actions:

Move the axes to the sync position and update the revolution counters"

What can we do then? Is there any reference showing us how to deal with this error?

Many thanks

    Hi
you need to jog each axis to calibration marks and update the counters.

    Hello

A?A?A?A?I just want to give the complement of what Klaus told. After you store the Revolution Counter setting, you should run a procedure for Checking Revolution Counter :
    1. Takes the manipulator to sync position (all axis in zero position)
    2. Insert this instruction in your main procedure (please Comment/deactived if you run program in Auto) : MoveAbsJ *NoEoffs, v1000, z50, tool0;
    3. Choose star position (*), Edit/View Value, put all axis to zero.
    4. For Trial : Run the Robot to non zero position
    5. PP to Cursor to above instruction and execute forward, Robot will go to zero position.
    6. When Robot stops on zero position, check whether values of all axis on jogging menu are zero or not.If not, your calibration is not precision.
I hope this explanation is usefull.

    Hi, Guys,

We updated evolution counter. The robot looks working well.

But can you tell me why this happened? I mean why we got the error message after downloading a robotic system to controller.

    Many thanks

Normaly the SMB board will store the update but sometime it goes wrong.
I always run all axis in 0 degrees before udpate system. Then its easy to update counters if the valua is last. Use the moveabsJ as Dhyan wrote.
