when I import the 3d model from SAT, I want to read the coordinate of points on the surface of model. but I can't find RS provide this function. in the autocad, I can use function capture to get the information of coordinate of each point on the surface of model. how can I do like this? could anyone teach me? thanks. another question is why autocad can't read the sat file outputted by RS?

Hi,
IA'm not sure I understand what you mean with points, but you will see the coordinates of the mouse click int the RobotStudio taskbar:The reason that AutoCad not can read the sat file is probably that RobotStudio use a newer version of ACIS then your AutoCad program. You can select what ACIS version you should use at export from RobotStudio:
