Open System error

in RobotStudio

RS 5.12.01 was loaded fresh on a computer. Used to create and download new system to IRC 5. The Online works OK.

When trying to create a new virtual system Offline any controller system selected, existing or template, the error: RobHelperFactory.init failed is generated.

 

Restart of the PC did not help. Attached is a screenshot of the error and a robot studio support tool file.

 

What can be the problem?

    Hello Jim,
     

    The problem is most likely in your firewall. Try if you get the same behavior when connected/not connected to the network. Also try to disable McAfee Firewall (which I guess you have).

     

    If this is the case, you need to add "RobVC.exe" as an exception which should solve the problem. If this is nothing you can do yourself, you should talk to your IT-department.
