conveyor movement and process timer are not synchr

Using Conveyor tracking, conveyor movement and process timer are not synchronised.

For example, I set Conveyor speed 42mm/s -> means that conveyor will move 3000mm in 71.4s.

But, If I start simulation and stop it when conveyor moved exactly 3000mm, Process timer shows does not show 71.4s. Can be also up to 10 secs different.

It seems to me that this variation depends on CPU load, sometimes is more or less OK, other times is absolutely wrong.

Have you tried using "Time Slice" mode, see below

I selected "Time Slice", as you seggested and ran some simulations. As described above I expect to have a Process-Time of 71.4 after 3000mm of conveyor movement.

Results are: 70.2 / 67.5 / 67.3 / 70.4.

 

Observations:

-results are not what expected;

-results are not "stable" (-1.2s / -3.9s / -4.1s / -1s): they differ the one from the other;

-this example is not the whorst case I observed with conveyor tracking;

 

Witch one is more reliable? Process-Timer or Conveyor Position?

 

Would you like to observe the station I created that shows this feature?
