MultiMove help!
in RobotStudio
Hi,
I tried to build a simple MultiMove simulation with two robots. I built a path for the tool robot, tested the path with MultiMove wizard, generated multimove path,...i thought everything's ok. but when i synchronized to VC and played the simulation it could not run. the output window indicated something wrong with robot axes configuration. i've consulted RS Help but still don't know how to fix it. can anybody help?
Best Regards,

Hi,Even if the calculation is OK in the MultiMove Wizard itA's no guarantee that the paths will work correct when you run them in the Virtual Controller. The reason is that the "MultiMove Calculation" does not use the Virtual Controller to calculate the path for the workpiece robot. So you must always test run the path with the Virutal Controller to be sure you not have problem with configurations, singularity etc.To solve the problem you can use the MultiMove "Motion behavior" tools to find a better path, and/or change the "Start Position" for the calculation. In your case the tool robot run in to singularity (bad orientation on axis 5), so I changed the start position a little.

Thank you very much, Mr. Spaak. I caught my problem. By the way, is there any MultiMove documentation that you can share with us, since i think it's a bit difficult to work well with MultiMove just by consulting RS Help. I downloaded MultiMove Application Manual but it seems to deal mainly with RAPID programming, so a specific document about MultiMove graphical programming, or some examples or tutorials will be appreciated. Thanks again.Best regards,0

The RS Help and the MultiMove Application Manual is the only available documentation for MultiMove I know about for the moment. But I agree about that a tutorial for MultiMove would be good, I will look into that.

Hi Toby,IA'm afraid there is no MultiMove tutorial available yet. But the RS installation adds two MultiMove demo stations that maybe can be at help. You find them under
