Rs 5.12.02 Virtual Controller problem

After a couple of days without any RS work, I suddenly can't open ANY RS project that uses a virtual controller. A couple of pure geometry projects works fine though.

If I create a new project ( System builder still crashes ) then everything is fine.

There are no interesting error messages about missing files or such. Robot studio shows a message that the project loaded successfully, and a splitsecond later a Microsoft Windows popup is displayed saying that ABB Virtual Controller stopped working.

Trying to trace it in VS, ends up in nothing, looks like the problem is not originalting from .NET code.

Any Ideas please?

I am running Vista, up to date. Antivirus and NW connectivity has been tested.
