Backup from real controller to virtual controller
in RobotStudio
I made a backup from the real controller and create the station in robotstudio from backup. After changing a little bit of porgram i create another backup from virtual controller and restore in my real station. But every time when i try to restore the backup, it is written that id between the backup and existing system mismatch and its not recomended to do this. Im question is why it happens? if i create virtual station from backup from real controller, then it should be the same, am i right?

Hi,Any robot system is identified by a so-called GUID (Gobally Unique IDentifier), e.g. {EE9B0E5F-5A87-462F-A580-8DA4917B9851}. Even if the you have two systems that are created from the same backup, the systems will have different GUIDs and thus considered to be different. The message in the dialog will be clarified for version 5.13 which is due in Q2 2010.
