why can't rebuild Robot Control system

RobotWare Version: 5.10.0147.00

 

If I want to rebuild the control system on 5.09.2038.02 or 5.07.3029.03 and so on,

when I on step of "drive module key" ,RS-Online tips "Enter Drive keys Invalid".

 

I think Whether the OperateSystem software is not compatible to low versions ,right?

Correct. You can only use a key that has been created for a specific RobotWare version to create a new system with the same RobotWare version or a later RobotWare version. In your case, 5.10 or later. RobotWare is not forward compatible with respect to keys.

 

Why would you like to downgrade?

Due to some message from Production department :

The RobotWelding station with OS_5.10 was not stable as other station with OS_5.09 .

 

Just so so, I want to downgrade OS 5.10 to 5.09 ,as a test only.

Please also note that both RobotWare5.09 and 5.10 are now quite old releases. If you have any problems, I would suggest that you try to upgrade to the latest RobotWare version, RW5.12.03.

Is it possible to upgrade any RW to 5.12.03?
I have a 5.07 controller that I would like a newer RW on but wasn't there something else upgraded in the controller along the way also? (memory or something) that prevented upgrading more than rw5.xx? If there was, where is the breakpoint?

I had rebuilt a robot system from 5.10.0147 to 5.12.0138.

 

 But some problem was found after one day.I can't execute program in special paragraph forward or backward

 

Instance:

  ArcLStart *, vToArc, sm01, wd16Weave:=wv0, fine, R1_tWeldWObj:=R1_wR1toSTN1;
  ArcL *, vWeld, sm01, wd16Weave:=wv0, z10, R1_tWeldWObj:=R1_wR1toSTN1;
  ArcLEnd *,vWeld,sm01,wd16Weave:=wv0 ,fine,R1_tWeldWObj:=R1_wR1toSTN1;

 

And I found it's happen only when a instruction include "R1_tWeldWObj:=R1_wR1toSTN1" .

 

when downgrade to 5.10 it's clear away.

Do you know why?pls explain to me .THX
