Create from backup with 7th axis

Hi everybody,

 

I am trying to load an existing system by creating a station using a system created from a backup.

Every time the virtual controller starts, it asks for a library file due to the fact that the external axis is non standard.

I have created a library file to load and I select it when required but it then adds a robot to the list of models, and I end up with 2 robots and 2 external axis... every time I open tghe station it adds a robot again...

I there something I have done wrong?

I am not sure what you have done wrong. But I have had a problem with finding the correct librariy file for our MTC rotation axis. It seems to be very picky about the correct robotware version, meaning that you need the exact same version of robotware in the library whilst restoring from a backup. I do not know if this is the cause of your problem, but try copying the RobotWare folder from the Controller to your hard-drive, and use this copied folder as the Media Pool. This worked for me.
