Creating Wobj's in IRC5P

Is it possible to create a fixed Wobj in IRC5P? I can create and define TCP's. However when it comes to Wobj's I can only create them. There does not seem to be a straight forward way to define it.
Also does anyone know what is the latest version of the IRC5P (escentially a bolt on to the normal robware)?
Many thanks,
H

Hello. It is correct that there is not a straight forward way to save work objects, but there is a way. If you go to the Program Editor and select the module you have defined your work object in and save that module, the work object will be saved. If you use the default module which is robdata, you must first select Modules + SysMods to find the robdata module. You can also do this from RobotStudio. Easier, actually. There will be an improved Save-functionality in RW 5.13. Last release is RW 5.12.02.01. Good luck :-) br Tormod Tormod2010-01-29 15:20:57Tormod Henne

hi H,there is an instruction, I don't have the manual in front of me, but it is something like "wobjdef" -defines a workobject, you will need to have 3 targets before you can execute this instruction. Target X1 being the origin, X2 being the x-axis and Y1 being direction of the +y axis from X1. you execute this instruction manually (and only need to execute once)i hope this helps...0
