Flexpendant not shutting down

Hi,

I'm trying to debug a RAB application using vitual flexpendant in Robotstudio 5.12.3 and every time i change the build I need to shutdown the flexpendant to overwrite the used files.

For some reason when I shutdown, it just hide the flexpendant. So I have to open the Task Manager for Windows and shutdown manually.

When you have done this about a hundred times it gets a bit annoying.

Isn't the flexpendant supposed to close when you press the "X"(close?) in right upper corner. It disappers of the screen but it stays loaded in the memory and a new build after some small changes fails because you're unable to overwrite the files because they are being used by the still open flexpendant.

Is it just my system or is this common for RS.

  • Hi Mattias,

I have seen this happen when some of the objects have not been disposed. Could you check:

    - Launching the FP and closing it without opening your application is the same result? or,

    - only happens when you are application has been opened.
