Backup completed with errors [WebWare Server]

Hello everybody!

While doing a backup in ww 4.7 I get the result: "Completed with errors" and the resultcodes: 3112. 3102. The funny thing is that we have made no change to the datacollector, robots or the server softwares.

 

We have five S4 robots connected to this datacollector and we have the same problem on four of them, the fifth doesnA't have any problem.

 

Would be gratefull for any input what the problem could be.

    Try to delete the DUMP directory. Then retry backup. If still not working investigate the backup for "strange" files i.e files that normally isn't included in a backup.

    You can also try to enable the FTP-interface in the profile.

    The problem was solved by turning the ftp interface on how we missed this is a mystery.

    It is not a complete mistery, lennart is right to point these files Smile


     

    With S4X if you don't enable FTP we use RAP protocol (Native Robot Application Protocol) to transfer files, but RAP is not able to handle long files/directories names and is limited to 8.3 (dos standard) file names

     

    In you case you have a File or Directory which are longer than this then you had an error

     

    FTP is a bit slower and a bit less reliable but it handles long file names
