Create Gripper Mechanism
Hi Guys
Just started programming with Robotstudio and have come up against a brick wall...
I have imported a gripper assembly from Pro Engineer and attached it to the end of the robot, I have selected the Create Mechanism tab and this is where I become stuck
Do I select the robot as the baselink or the grippers apparently you require two things but have no idea what they are
And again in Joints I thought I would have to select the actual grippers to move but the whole jaw assembly gets selected
I have tried looking for tutorials online but only found the lathe/lathe door which didnt help me at all
Thanks in advance

I think you have to split your gripper geometry into different pieces and create a mechanism of that, then attach it to the robot.
