about RAB Version?

My ABB robot ware Version is 5.09.
I need install which version of Visual Studio and Robot Application Builder?
 
On the other, when I connect PC with robot, whether I must install Robotstudio software?

    Hi,
     

    PC SDK is designed to be backwards compatible with earlier versions of RobotWare, but FlexPendant SDK is not.

     

    Do you intend to develop FlexPendant applications?

    In that case you need RAB 5.09.

     

    Use the latest version of RobotStudio. (It actually uses PC uses PC SDK to communicate with the controller)

     

    RobotStudo 5.13 will be available in a few days.

     

    You can use Visual Studio 2005 or 2008. (For PC SDK the Express Edition of 2005/2008 is enough).
