RobotStudio 5.13 Linked Motors

in RobotStudio
Linked motors were always a bit odd in 5.12. ie every system startup you had to reset the slave to be the same as the master using mechanism joint jog.
But in 5.13 I cannot get a simulation or playing from the flexpendant to work at all. Will just run for a bit and then give Linked Motor Error (large position offset) and the slave is set to 0 and master is where it should be 2230.
And no amount of resetting it with joint jog seems to fix it.
Anyone else tried a station with linked motors.
