Problems after upgrade to RS V5.13

I installed V5.13, followed by Patch 1, then executed Reg_ComServer_NetScan.cmd, rebooting after each step.

An add-in which should display text using
'.TemporaryGraphics.DrawText(...)' no longer displays the text.


The Selection Level / Snap Mode toolbar is missing from the top of the graphics window. I have not found a way to switch it back on.

Neither problem occurred with the previous version of RS.

    This sounds like a graphics related problem. This seems to be unrelated to the patch or 5.13.

     

    What graphics card are you using?

    Try updating the graphics driver.

    Try switching between "Open GL" and "Direct3D" for rendering (RS Options->Graphics->Renderer)

    Switching from Direct3D to OpenGL fixed both problems.
