  • Hi.

My robot's USB output can not active.

    How do I activate ?

  • Is the USB option installed on the S4C+ controller?  If it is the connector will be located under the spring door that also houses the service port connector.  The USB port is already enabled and will work with the proper USB thumb drive.  I have found that thumb drives that have self loading drivers may cause the S4C+ controller to lock up requiring a warm start.  I have also found that large thumb drives (8Gb or larger) will take some time to connect, at least on the IRC5 controller.  I can only assume this will be the same for S4C+.

If the USB option is not installed then all that is needed to be added is a USB cable kit.  This will include a USB cable that connects to the DSQC 540 Main CPU board (DSQC 500 CPUs lack the required connector) and a cover plate for the front of the S4C+.
