Remote controlling an S4 robot
Hi,
I am completely new to
robotics, but I am wondering whether it is possible to remote control a
robot that uses the S4 controller. By remote control, I mean being able
to for example use my computer mouse to control the robots actions. I
have read that I am able to upload
programs to the S4 controller, and as I am a specialist in automatization of computers I could automate this uploading. I then imagine to upload a single program instructions (based on the input from the mouse) several times per second. My question is whether this would be fast enough to send the ad-hoc instructions from my mouse
to the robot without feeling much of a lag. I believe a lag of up to 200
milliseconds would be acceptable, but more would really reduce the
productivity.
Regards,
David
