robot skips fixtures on conveyor

irc5p cabinet and irb52 paint robot. We have a chain on side conveyor which our parts are painted on. I have a tracking program with 2 lasers. 1 pointed at the fixtures and the other pointed at the spindles. The skipping is random and not all the time.. We  also have the revolution couter etc on the conveyor motor.  I'm not sure if it's in the tracking module, or the conveyor timing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We use robotstudio 5.12,, but we already have a robot in place that has been for many years, so we are transferring the program coordinates over to the new robot, with much time consuming work and also working out the bugs and positions etc. I am currently working with robotstudio to understand and hopefully get a better insight as to what might be going on, and hopefully save time on our programs and any future programs that we may need.. I"m just not sure yet as I have only begun, how to create my chain on side conveyor. any help there would also be much appreciated..
