    Hi,

you will not get more help when making noice by using over sized text.

Questions of this type is of limited interest to other users on the forum.

If you would like to help me proof read the manual, which I really appreciate, its more efficient if you compile all typos you find and send them in a PM.

    Thanks.

  • first, I'm sorry for using over sized text , I though that it will make my words more obvious for the reader Unhappy

if "Developer Tools" sub-forum  is not for asking for help for coding in general , so, where could I ask my questions ( noting that I'm Beginner in RAB )

the problem facing me now is

1- not so obvious codes in the manual

2-some errors result from faults in some codes in the manual

could you please solve this problem for me

    and sorry for disturbance UnhappyUnhappy

    Hi again,

Are you familiar with .NET programming?

Have you tried to use ScreenMaker?

It depends on what is the goal of the application you want to create. ScreenMaker helps you to define User Interfaces inside the FlexPendant, and also link the UI with the robot data.

This product is part of RobotStudio.

  • mmm

    thanks for this great information

It's my graduation project , It's a "welding process using the IRB 140 robot"

& the main work in the project is on RobotStudio.

my job now is doing the UI in the flexpendant , so I decided to try all examples in the chapter "using the FlexPendant SDK" and faced the above errors mainly  because I'm beginner in .NET programming.

Anyways, If I failed in doing the UI using codes.

    I'll switch to ScreenMaker.

    Thanks for this advice. Smile

    Hi again,

from what you described I think ScreenMaker will be able to do what you want.

If it turns out that you need to something more advanced which is not supported by ScreenMaker,  then it is possible to export the ScreenMaker project to Visual Studio and continue there.

This feature can also be useful in order to learn how to code using FlexPendant SDK, since you can design your UI in ScreenMaker and then have a look at the resulting C# code in VisualStudio.

Have you seen that there is a specific forum for ScreenMaker?

    Good luck!
