Creating components with adjustable properties

In RS 5.13.1 in the Equipment-Library there is an Conveyor, wich width and length is selectable beetween 2 presetet values.
How can i extend this with a listbox for the height and extend it this way, that any value can given for the dimensions?
Where can i find a tutorial for creating components with adjustable properties?

    The conveyors in the equipment library are not parametric, it's a set of pre made library files. But from RS 5.13 it is possible to create parametric parts with help of Smart Components. There are some tutorials on the user forum about Smart Components.
