Upgrade OS problems
Hello all!
I'm trying to upgrade a OS on an old IRC5 robot (2008) to the latest version.
I've used a backup to create a new OS using the RobotStudio and then I try to send it to the robot.
I'm receiving an error that tells me to free 25MB!!! the problem here is that I don't know what else to remove...
Any idea?
Thank you in advance

Hi,If you do a C-Start (under ABB->restart->advanced.. on the FlexPendant) the current system will be deleted and the boot application will shown. You can then download the new system from RobotStudio.RegardsGraeme0

This seems a bit risky without all the correct steps... I've tried to search for the document that should explain that, but I've not been able to find it anywhere:"You can find a detailed description of how to upgrade the controller system from RobotWare 5.05 to RobotWare 5.11.xx in the document "Migration Guide RW 5.05 ?_" RW 5.06 ?_" RW 5.08 ?_" RW 5.09 ?_" RW 5.10" (RP5.10 - 053) ?_" RW5.13 (RP5.13-063) "Do you know where I could find that?Thank you in advance!0

The migration guide is not publicly available. Please get in touch with ABB that can help you do the upgrade.Henrik Berlin
