ROBOSTUDIO 5.13.01v Station Loading fault

HI ,

I have created a system on ROBOSTUDIO 5.13.01v and I have created a pack and go file . But everyone has whom I have sent this file to in ABB, have come back  to me stating there is some problem in the station you have packed and that they cannot open it.

This is Fault I see when I load the station: IRB660_180_315__01: The number of joints is different between the library model and the controller configurations.    26/10/2010 09:57:31    General.

I am attaching the pack and go file in this topic, please have a look at the website and download it.

Couple of questions:

1) If I create a pack and go file of a system and then Unpack it within the same folder containing the actual system:- would that cause the above error to be caused?

  • From the Release Notes:

Error message starting system with IRB260/660
Starting a system with IRB260/660 gives you an error message: "The number of joints is
different between the model and VC". The reason is that the IRB260/660 is modeled
with six joints in RobotStudio of which two are locked, but has four joints in the VC .

We will consider this message to be removed in future releases.

  • I was able to open the station and run the program with RS 5.13.02. Can you describe the problem you get in more detail?

  • I get this error when I open a pack and go file into the same folder where I have the previous system saved.

The pack and go opens the file and states the back up is missing and the program wasnt loaded. But when I go offline I can see the rapid module. But when I double click it, it would show up. I usually then do a P start of the controller and then load the program again. That seems to solve the problem.

  • Another reason for me posting this online, is ABB service center in UK couldnt open the file.
