Attaching object to mechanism with IO
in RobotStudio
Hello all,
I am facing a tiny problem with RS 5.13..
I have created a mechanism (device) which is moving object (IO -controlled)..
Mechanism is working properly with joint jogging but object (.sat) is not moving..
IA've created events in event manager..
Exmple :
DO1,1 Move mechanism to pose Pose1
DO1,0 Move mechanism to pose Homepose
DO2,1 Attach object
DO2,0 Detach object..
etc. etc..
When activating DO2 the object is attached to baselink L1 ???
Is it possible to change that somewhere.. want to attach it to Link2 ?
When attaching that same object to other mechanism it works properly..
Sorry my bad English.. hopefully u get what I mean and someone can advice me..

Hi,I recommend that you create a SmartComponent to move your object instead of using the Event Manager. "Smart Components" is the new way to do simulations like this, and is much more powerful than the Event Manager. You will find some tutorials on how to use Smart Components on the Community.Best regards,
