Great Ghost
Whisperer DVD ! It's a cross between "Supernatural" and Touched
By An Angel". Not as spooky as "Supernatural" but caring stories
as "Touched By An Angel" was. I admire strong women roles as Jennifer
Love Hewitt does by playing Melinda Gordon. She's married, but have you noticed
she kept her last name. Awesome! Family
Guy DVD There was one episode, although it may have been season 2 ( I
just watched season 1 and season 2 these last 3 weeks), where her husband said
something like "I can't let You" and she says "Let Me". No
man is going to tell her what to do. COOL! It's nice to see a husband stand by
his wife. In the real world that wouldn't happen. Desperate
Housewives DVD Maybe more shows like this and the males of our society
may follow. I did say I have one complaint. This is a great entertaining show,
great actresses and actors, great stories, keeps me interested. My Fiancee and myself couldn't
make it beyond the first disk. We both thought it was just too boring and
followed too much of a formula. Weeds
DVD Woman sees ghost... tells the ghost's loved ones... they yell at her
& say get lost... later they see she really can talk to ghosts... then
people cry and the ghost walks into the light. Nothing was scarier than, say,
when you almost knock your coffee over on your computer keyboard. Just a few
startling noises or sudden movements. Curb
Your Enthusiasm DVD The ghosts pretty much just look like people. I think
maybe I would describe these as ghost stories for Grandmothers. More attempted
tear-jerking than scary moments. I'm going to pass them over to my 84 year old
mom. She may like them. If you had no other options I suppose they're
watchable.
