  • Hello,<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

There are different ways to achieve simultaneous backups of all your robots, but currently not available as an ?_oof the shelf?__ software.

Among others the ABB Service Agreement ?_oResponse-package?__ will offer you the Remote Service Technology and the access to the ABB?_Ts MyRobot web page. Via MyRobot information about each remote enabled robot can be found, reports about the health and status of the robot as well as functions for Backup management.
The remote service kit can be ordered as a factory option or as a retro-fit on existing installations on S4C(P)+ and IRC5(P) controllers.
With this service you can both select individual robots to backup or schedule backups on multiple robots.

Another alternative available is to customize a solution according to your own need with the help of the PC SDK. With this free tool available on the download section you can, with the right prerequisite, tailor your own backup solution.

  • Hello,
One click of what? a mouse click?

I think you have several choices. It is possible to create a backup on a robot using IO signals from pushing for example a mechanical button triggering a signal. I have never done it, but im quite sure it's possible.

Another option i guess is using the PC SDK and scanning the network for controllers and creating backups from there. If you want them to end up at the same location you need the FTP client option in the robot though.

    Kind regards
