Reading IO
in RobotStudio
Hi, I'm using a plane sensor to activate a digital input to the system. When simulating the code using the "play" button in RS everything works great, but if I try to execute the program from the Virtual Flexpendant the plane sensor does not generate any signal. Could this be due to graphic problems, as I find all the mechanisms running not as smooth when I have the Virtual F.P activatet ?

Hi,To get Smart Components to behave correct, the simulation needs to be running. If you would like to run the robot program from the Flex Pedant, do like this:Open Simulation Setup and uncheck the robot system under Active Tasks and under Simulated Objects (Simulation Scenarios tab).Open the FlexPendant.Press the "play" button to start the simulation (which now only will simulte your Smart Components).Start your robot program from the FlexPendant.Best regards,
