?How to set up virtual Group Output/Input signal?

CryI added virtual in unit type and defined unit with virtual bus and virtual type as well.

After I added group out/input they cant be seen in I/O simulator.

Cry
does anyone know why is that?

I set all trust levels to required(0)
Access levels = all
Default values = 0
unit mapping = 0-7

  • I actually have no idea...
I'm pretty sure it was just the computer I was using at the time, because it worked fine on my laptop and then when I tried to use the other computer, it didn't work properly
I can send you the file I used :S

  • I figured out my case.
I create Unit and Unit Type in I/O configuration with same name.
that is allowed by Robotstudio, but illegal.
When you do that, not only does it make you cannot see the signals you created in the unit you've created, but also makes Robotstudio station clash after you reboot the program.
My tutor said, Robotstudio has a lot of bugs.

Here is my configuration set up, share with you guys.
    Create unit type as virtual
    Create Bus as virtual
Create unit and pick the type and the bus you've just created.
then create signals with the unit you've created.

then you can actually see signals in the I/O simulator.

dont forget to map you signal in different digit,
if you map signals into a same digit, if you make a change to 1 signal.
you make changes to all signals.
