Slow cursor in Online/Offline editor

Hi.

 

After Upgrading to RS 5.14 the Rapid editor in Both on/Off line is very slow.

When i move my cursor it goes 10 times slower as in RS 5.13.

 

How come?????

Have you add some syntax check or what.

 

PS it is the text cursor not mouse

Try unloading any VSTA add-ins.

Try to run the attached script. It will re-register some components of the RobotCommunicationRuntime. As an effect, the performance will revert to normal for affected installations. The script will not cause any harm to installations that did not have the problem with the component registration.webwiz/772/Reg_ComServer_NetScan.zip(The script is also available on the RobotWare 5.14 DVD, in the Utility folder).

This performance issue will be solved in the upcoming service release.

The new release, RobotStudio 5.14.01 will be available within short.
