RobotStudio 5.14.01 is available

RobotStudio 5.14.01 has been released and is available for download from the
RobotStudio Community (http://www.robotstudio.com/community). RobotStudio is
shipped with RobotWare which means that there is one common image for both
RobotWare and RobotStudio.

Licensing and
Activation

A new
activation key is required for RobotStudio 5.14.xx. Active subscribers will get
an Upgrade Notification by e-mail with the new key. Users who do not
hold a valid subscription but are interested in using the Premium functionality
of RobotStudio should contact their local ABB Robotics sales representative,
see http://www.abb.com/contacts/.

Installation
and Upgrade

RobotStudio 5.14.01
will replace an eventual 5.14 installation.

Previous versions
(5.13.xx) can be kept side-by-side of RobotStudio 5.14.01.

When the
installer detects an existing installation of a previous RobotStudio version the
following question is displayed: Setup has detected an older version of
RobotStudio on this computer. Would you like to uninstall it?

Answer No
to install RobotStudio 5.14.01 side-by-side with your existing installation.
Your previous RobotStudio version can be used as long as the license for that
version is valid.

Version
Independent Activation Key

The activation
key for RobotStudio 5.14 has been renamed to 5.x. This is because the
activation key is version independent from RobotStudio 5.14 onwards. This means
that the activation key named RobotStudio 5.x will activate all versions
including 5.14 and later, i.e. RobotStudio will remain activated when upgraded
to a version later than 5.14.

Note: The RobotStudio
5.x key will not activate version 5.13.03 or earlier.
