No Communication with I/O
in RobotStudio
I am not able to get communication with any I/O unit on my devicenet bus. I have the correct jumpers for the addressing, and my configurations are correct. I have a terminating resistor (121ohms) at the end of my trunk. Can anyone tell me why i have no communication with any of my devicenet units? the Comm light on devicenet card is flashing green.

HiMost of the times I had that problem, the cableing was wrong. I just had an other problem, that the robot had a (low cost) DeviceNet_Lean module, that doesn't communicate with every module.Best regardsMarcel0

Hi,Acordding to the DevicNet application manual a flashing comm LED on the Master/Slave PCI card means that the board is online and communicating on the network but no configured devices have been found. What is the staus of the MS and NS LED's on the I/O units (are they ABB DSQC652 units)?RegardsGraeme0
