Bug in RobotStudio 5.14.01

Hi,

I would like to report a bug in the new RobotStudio 5.14.01 version. It seems that the connection of robotstudio with the virtual controller is the problem. Everytime i do a simple adjustment to my program the process "svchost NETWORK SERVICES" consumes my PC resources. This seems to be a communication error to me, and as only robotstudio has an active connection to a virtual controller when ever i do these rapid program changes, this has to be the problem.

I'm working on a Windows XP platform with  service pack 3 installed. My pc has a Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz and 1.99 GB of RAM( properties of "my computer" ). I would think my pc is still fast enough to run the new version of robotstudio, cause i didn't had any problems running the same project in the 5.13.02 robotstudio.

Hope this helps correcting the problem in a next version of robotstudio.

Thanks,
Steven

  • Hi,

Because of the bug i just mentioned, i went back installing robotstudio 5.13.02. Now I have both robotstudio versions on my pc and for some reason version 5.14.01 is again as fast as 5.13.02. So it seems that version 5.13.02 does something in the back maybe a windows reconfiguration ( firewall perhaps ) wich also affects the 5.14.01 version. So by pure luck i now have a fast working version of robotstudio 5.14.01.

So for all other's out there having a simular problem. If you only have version 5.14.01 on your pc, install version 5.13.02 next to it to make it fast!
