  • Hi Jipin,

This is the same version of RS as the previous 5.14.01 download, so there is no reason to upgrade.

The reason for the new name is a minor RobotWare release.

  • Does anyone have some info about when the 5.14.01 educational version will be released?

  • Tunski,

School licensing will be available with RobotStudio 5.14.02 which should be released in October.

    regards,

  • Dear Johannes,

We have a school license 5.13 running and want to start width robot studio 5.14.02.
Should I install robot studio 5.14.02 or is there a special school edition which I can download?
Do we need a new license? (version 5.14)
Can we use the licenses separately robot studio 5.13 and 5.14?

    Best regards,

    Willum

  • Hi Willum,

Please get in touch with your local ABB contact to place an order for the RobotStudio School Edition (RSSE) 5.14.02.01 . We are in the process of starting to deliver the required software. A new license is required, i.e. you cannot use the same license as for 5.13. You can use the 5.13 license until it expires. It is possible to use RSSE 5.13 and 5.14.02.01 side-by-side.

  • Dear Mr Berlin,

Thank you for the fast replay and the information I will contact our contact person when we want to start using the new version.
"We are in the process of starting to deliver the required software" means that it is not available yet?

    Greetings, Willum
  • It means that the build is completed and the order process is being fine-tuned. If you place the order, you will get the delivery as soon as it becomes availble.
