I am trying to pass a signed integer (i.e. 425 or -218) from a PLC via Option 841-1 (Ethernet IP fieldbus adapter). I would prefer not to use binary communication, but pass an actual integer. Is there anyway to do this using 841-1?
If not using 841-1, how about one of the other ethernet ports?
