path Accuracy

Hi All,

I'm using robot 4600 for cutting. I'm using robot studio the create the program. The problem is the path accuracy. When I transfer the program to the robot, the path distance is out by 2mm or more. Could anybody help me on this on the path accuracy.

    You will need to make sure your tool settings in RS match your real cell and that your fixture location matches also.

    yes, i did match it. The problem is, for example when I want 100mm long, the robot will cut longer or shorter by 2 to 3 mm, either 97mm or 103mm. I need to adjust manually the robtarget in order to get back 10mm.

    Do you have absolute accuracy robot/option ?
    That might help a bit

    No, i don't hv this option. One more thing, my robot is inverted robot, does it will affect the accuracy. Thanks.
