Hello,
I'm creating a station with a paint rail and paint robot. I allready have some targets to be paint, but now i would like to make some more. I want the targets in their own workobject to be moved prismatically once during the simulation from one point to another.
I've allready tried with mechanism (device), but i couldn't find any solution.

I guess i have to somehow attach one coordinate system or frame to another one.
Thank you for your help,

I think i did some progress, but still didn't reach the goal. I guess the workobject has to be moved by the mechanical unit in another task. The problem is, i don't know if there's even possible to create another external axis in same station with this kind of setup (paint robot + paintrail).Did anyone have similar problems or does anyone have any idea how to approach the problem?Thank you very much,arcontarcont2011-11-23 15:55:490

There's one solution my friend told me about.1.Create a mechanism2.Create an additional part attached to mechanism3.Attach workobject to created additional part0
