Applying Changes causes long pause
in RobotStudio
While using the VC, and editing RAPID code, selecting the "apply changes" func causes the RS application to hang for 5-10 minutes..... IF you wait long enough, without pressing buttons it will always return to you.
This happens pretty repeatably after using it for a while, and when I am also connected online to an actual robot. Once it happens once, it will happen every time "apply changes" is performed until the RS application is restarted.... then it works fine again. this seems to have begun since rs5.13 came out.
Can you help??

I also have the same problem with RobotStudio freezing for a while.
For me this happens both in offline and online mode.

Hi,Have you tried to run the "Reg_ComServer_NetScan.cmd" that you will find in the folder:RobotWare_5.14.02.01_Complete_DVDRobotWare 5.14.02.01UtilityBest regards,

I found that my problem was an process called apmsgfwd.exe. It is a touchpad driver from Dell. End it, and RS immediately comes back. I disabled the touchpad and fingerpad via the configuation gui for that driver, and I have not had any app pauses since.
