RS MOC file error?

Hello,  I have created a station from a backup (using correct keys etc), and have then modified the MOC file to suit the actual system layout.  I have swapped STN1 with STN2 and vice versa. This has worked on both the robot studio system and the real system.  However, after several days running ok, the RS system fell over and produced the fault shown in the attachments.  Is this a RS error, or is it an actual system error that then forces RS to fault?  I then reloaded the unmodified system back into RS and tried to load the modified MOC file in.  After rebooting the VC, RS generated the fault again and the system was un usable.  After much playing around, I managed to get it working again, but do not understand how the fault was caused.  Does the error text give you any clues to as why it failed?

  • Hi,

It is an RS error that seems to occur when RS tries to update the baseframe of your mechanism according to the values of the controller during controller start. If it occurs again, please contact your local ABB representative that can create a support issue and forward to our tech support.
