Interpolate surface from points
in RobotStudio
Is there a way create a surface from points? I tried to create a closed spline curve from 10 points and then create a surface from the curve; however, the surface generation failed. I was able to do this only with a three-node spline.
What I am trying to do is to recreate a model from points taught on an irregularly shaped part such as a rough casting. Right now I am approaching this by using another engineering software such as Matlab to interpolate and then import the geometric parameters back to RS. Is there a better way to do this?
Thanks
Ondrej
