and his advantages and disadvantages..and  about of microsoft robotstudio his advantages and disadvantages and why we can use ABB programming ....pls help me...my email address

    By my experience using ABB Robot Studio Programming :

    Advantage : we can simulate our project / system closely with the actual system. It's including I/O simulation.
    1. Marketing purpose : we can make Robot do the job as the actual (for example : simulation on Pick and Place object or palletizing), robot can really pick and place box, using Event manager
     2. Programming purpose (R&D) : the program we have made on Robot Studio can be downloaded to the real Robot and the program can run normally (of course we need to do some position fine tuning / teaching position)

    Disadvantage :  
    1. ABB Robot Studio Software is very expensive. Why???? we only will have 365 activation days for buying it. So every year we must buy and buy again.
    2. It's very difficult to simulate Conveyor Tracking using ABB Robot Studio.   

    it is my opinion about Robot Studio, may be there are another opinion by another user.

    I think the disadvantages of using robotstudio will be overcome by its advantages.

    It's expensive but the tool is great!

    The price of the tool is a little steep for me but I will make the investment because I need it. It will be very helpful in the long run I am sure.Smile
