I installed RS 5.14.03 network version (WIN7) and I have problem with creating cells. When I add to cell robot+track+positioner and try to build system from layout I get information :"The mechanical units could not automatically be mapped to the corresponding libraries"

What particular combination are you using? Not all combinations are supported. Check the RobotStudio Operating Manual for a table that shows the supported combinations.

If you are using a track... you will also require the track options installed from the robotware dvd.

I also have problems to create a station with a track. I can create a system with a track option (I have a folder named "Track.5.14.2039" with key-file in mediapool), but when i try to create a station with this system I fail.A window apperas where to choose the library for track, but the library (Irbt6003_compact-6400r-6600_97_m2002.rslib) cannot be found in the next step.Does the track install the mediapool files (.vfg, .kxt) or the model libraries (.rslib)? Or both?Have the libraries to be compiled seperatly, like described in Developer Center? Thanks.

The "track install" installs only the medaipool files. The track libraries comes with the RobotStudio installation (if you have made a full installation). So first run the "track install" and then use "System from Layout" to create your system. But as Henrik said is not all combinations supported.Best regards,

Our IT-service installed this components from the dvd:"RobotWare
5.14.02.01RobotWareABB RobotWare.msi"<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
"RobotWare
5.14.02.01RobotStudioABB RobotStudio 5.14.02.01.msi"
"StandAloneControllerABB Stand Alone
Controller.msi"
"RobotWare
5.14.02.01Additional OptionsTrackMotionABB RobotWare Track Motion
IRBT_IRT.msi"I want to simulate a IRB6650 with IRBT6003. If I read the manual correctly, this should be supported. For me it looks like the libraries weren't copied during installation, but I can't check it.0 -
Are you able to open the track Library file in an empty station... this will then confirm if it is available?0

No I can't. I contacted IT-service because of the full installation. I think there is something missing in my installation. They'll do a new installation. Thanks for your advice.

With the new installation it works. Track ist imported when creating a station with the prepared system and ist aviable in empty stations, too. It seems it was more a standard than a full installation. But it's hard to argue with IT-service, thanks for helping and your hint.0
