Hi,

we are using SDK 4.5 under W2000Pro SP4 and we are getting data from robots (S4) with the OPC technology (accessing ABB OPCServer).

System works fine, but sometimes, opening the page where we can read and write tags (1 tag = 1 persistent variable into the controller) we have "read only" on some tags.

Reloading the page the problem could or could not disappear.

The problem is indipendent from the number of tags on the screen.

Any suggestion?

Hi.

I made some tests with same robots and different PCs.

W2000Pro SP4 + interlink 4.5 has the problem (random OPC tags with readonly property set to ON)

WXPPro SP2 + interlink 4.6 has NOT the problem

Any suggestions?

You should use 4.6; its possible that you are seeing a defect in 4.5 that was fixed in 4.6
