PCSDK EventLogMessage language

I am using the PC SDK with a Virtual Controller to build an application. I have an event handler hooked up to the MessageWritten-event of the EventLog, but for some reason the language of the EventLogMessage object appears to be chinese. The only language installed on the VC is English. Will this also happen with the real controller or is a VC issue?

I am using the newest PC SDK version.
