Introduction to Robotics Course
Hello All,
I have a couple of questions for you guys if you dont mind. I've been tasked with creating an Introduction to Robotics course at my community college. Our robotics class is mainly geared towards autonomous and agile robotics. I've included a video that we made.
At the moment i'm being pressured to bring more industrial robotics into the class. I've spoken to a couple of knowledgeable people and they recommended the ABB IRB-120 robot. Our plan is to purchase 2 of these robots for the class. I also want to teach them Robotstudio aswell. I've spent a couple of days playing around with Robotstudio and i still have a lot to learn. My feeling is it would be nice if there was more tutorials and learning material available. All i've found is maybe 15 youtube videos without any sound. Do you guys think that this robot is a good idea for an educational setting??? Do you know where i could find good tutorials for complete beginners?
I've also included my robot station. I have 4 targets and am trying to move along a path. For some reason i keep on getting robot axis configuration errors? Is there something obvious that i'm screwing up. Thank you for any help or advice you can offer.
