Program Stop actions

Either I'm not reading the right parts of the manuals, or just confusing myself here but...

 

We have a input from the PLC, linked to the System Input "Stop".  Which is the best way to indicate this has happened in terms of a TRAP routine (I assume with a background task?) in order create a recovery path from the process.  Will it work if I simply connect an Interrupt to the input from the PLC, or will activating the Program Stop override this?  The idea is to have a recovery path, then to restart the process at the next point in the path to try and reduce part losses (if possible, of course!).

 

An ERROR handler would only work if the program was running as I see it?

Hi

There are start and stop events you could use. In the stop event you could check the signal of the PLC and set a boolean persitant data. At a start event routine you can check that boolean and do the path recovery.

Does anyone knows a command, that cancels the temporary called routine? I have a set of routines, that should just stop after are proceeded. When I want to run an other routine, it says that the previous is still running and I got a failure message. Than I have to go to program edit and from there I have to cancel call routine manually.

Is there a command that at the end of routine just cancels it?

I ask again, since I did't got answer, maybe this time.

The question is:

If I run a Run Routine button from the Screen Maker, and calls a routine, how can I terminate/end/close or what so ever that routine? Because when I use an other button for an other routine to call it says that the previous routine is still running and do I want to cancel it and run the new routine. Although I checked on TP in DEBUGG/ Cancel Call. Rout. is disabled so it has been canceled the previous routine.

Any idea, RAPID command or something?
