Signals in Robot Studio 5.14
Good morning my fellow Roboticists!
my company has an IRB120 with an IRC5 Compact controller. I wrote some software using the FlexPendant, did a backup, and loaded the backup into RobotStudio.
I can see the defined signals in Configuration->I/O (left menu strip).
However, they do not appear in I/O System in the same menu strip!
How do I get the I/O System to recognize the defined signals? It is kind of counter-intuitive that this can apparently not be done in an easy fashion.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
ca

Hi,
Try this:
First Create a new station using the " Station with existing controller". Use your back up to create this new station.
2. In the offline menu option, use restore backup (select your backup folder) to restore ur backup.
It should work fine.

Thank you Natalia. It didn't work like that either, unfortunately.... but it doesn't really matter, i will just comment out the I/O parts of the code whenever doing simulation.0

Did you load your IO modules cfg files? EIO.cfg?
What error message do you get?

Check the Event Log for errors. If the I/Os are are not correctly configured, the controller will not accept it and produce some error messages in the Event Log.Henrik Berlin
