Sync Function Check User Error

Hi,
I have a safe ABB robot with Software Sync Function. I wrote a small program to check the software sync. Everything works fine when I do the software sync check in the Mannual Mode,
But when I try to do the same in Automatic mode logging in as a Safety User, I get an Error says the function is available only in Safety User Mode.

Please note that, I have logged in as a Safety User and the safety user has privilege to all the safety functions in the user function.

I dont know what the problem is, I am wondering the software sync function is only available in manual mode.

You shall only use sofware sync in Manual operating mode.
